Data & Versions
Iran Monitor is available in three forms: the live maintained database for browsing, immutable dataset snapshots for reproducible analysis, and numbered releases published on Zenodo with a DOI.
Live Database
The latest continuously maintained record, best for browsing and searching. It may change as new evidence is reviewed, so it is not a fixed dataset. Current cutoff 26 August 2026.
Research Dataset
Each snapshot is an immutable Excel export of the database as it stood at a specific point in time, with a permanent identifier and a permanent download URL. Snapshots are suited to reproducible analysis and can be referenced permanently; routine snapshots carry no DOI.
No preserved snapshot is available yet.
Published Releases
Numbered releases are formally published frozen scholarly versions archived on Zenodo, each with its own version DOI and version-specific documentation. They remain unchanged by later revisions.
