Actor names are normalized here for readability. In particular, several source-specific descriptions of Syrian opposition forces are grouped under Syrian armed opposition. This grouping does not remove uncertainty from the underlying dossiers.
Iran Monitor records an Actor only after the event criterion has been assessed as met. Where public reporting does not support a single definitive actor, the Actor field and dossier wording preserve that limitation rather than assigning one by assumption.
